모바일 디자이너와 개발자를 위한 MobileBeat 2012 Innovation Competition이 개최된다. 가장 혁신적인 모바일 기술을 선정하는 이번 대회는 태블릿 어플리케이션, 스마트폰 어플리케이션, 모바일 서비스 등 세 가지 부문으로 나뉘어 진행된다. 결과는 샌프란시스코에서 개최되는 MobileBeat 컨퍼런스에서 발표하며, 우승자에게는 Tesla상을 수여한다. 제출 마감은 6월 8일 오후 5시(태평양표준시)까지.
