초기 스타트업 밸류업 전문 액셀러레이터 소풍커넥트(대표 최경희)가 CJ제일제당의 식품·유통산업 혁신 스타트업 발굴 및 육성 프로그램인 '프론티어랩스(FRONTIER LABS) 5기'를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
'프론티어랩스'는 CJ제일제당과 협업 가능한 혁신 기술과 아이디어를 보유한 스타트업을 선발해 투자하는 오픈 이노베이션 프로그램이다. 이번 5기 프로그램은 CJ제일제당, CJ인베스트먼트, 한국농업기술진흥원(농진원)과 소풍커넥트가 함께 한다.
모집분야는 지속가능 혁신소재, 제조·가공 혁신 및 패키징 기술, 디지털 유통/마케팅 플랫폼, 트렌드 선도(Emerging )식품 브랜드 등이다. 이 외에도 푸드테크, 친환경 패키징 등 CJ제일제당과 시너지를 낼 수 있는 사업 분야의 스타트업은 누구나 지원 가능하며, 모집기간은 다음달 21일까지다.
선발된 기업에게는 최초 3억 원의 투자금이 제공되며, CJ제일제당 사업부와의 협업 기회, 사업실증(PoC) 운영 지원, 전문가 멘토링, 최대 10억 원의 후속 투자 등 다양한 혜택이 주어진다. CJ인베스트먼트는 전문 투자 심사역의 1:1 멘토링 및 추가 투자 검토 기회를, 소풍커넥트는 체계적인 육성 프로그램을 지원한다.
올해 처음 프론티어랩스에 합류한 소풍커넥트는 농식품 특화 액셀러레이팅 경험을 바탕으로 참여 기업들을 지원할 예정이다. 소풍커넥트는 2020년부터 5년간 농식품 특화 액셀러레이팅 프로그램을 통해 총 63팀을 선발 육성했으며, 선발기업들의 후속투자금은 465억 원에 달한다. 또한 인사, 마케팅, 특허, PR, IR, 해외진출 분야의 외부 전문가 풀을 활용해 스타트업의 전방위적인 밸류업을 지원하고 있다.
소풍커넥트 최경희 대표는 “식품·유통산업의 유망 스타트업을 발굴해온 프론티어랩스에 소풍커넥트가 힘을 보탤 수 있게 돼 큰 영광으로 생각한다”라며 “오랫동안 혁신 스타트업을 발굴하고 지원해온 만큼 참여 기업들이 빠르게 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
