정밀광학시스템 전문 인세라솔루션(대표 권영관)이 중소벤처기업부의 '스케일업 팁스 R&D' 사업에 선정됐다. 인세라솔루션은 IBK창공 대전 5기 출신 기업이다.
선정된 연구개발과제는 '우주광통신용 레이저 정밀조향시스템 개발'로, 9월 1일부터 향후 3년간 총 12억원의 정부 지원을 받는다. 이번 과제에는 이노폴리스파트너스가 운영사로 참여했다.
스케일업 팁스 R&D는 창업 초기 기업을 지원하는 TIPS 프로그램을 확장한 사업이다. 일정 성과를 달성한 유망 스타트업이 연구개발과 해외 진출을 통해 글로벌 시장에서 성장할 수 있도록 지원한다.
인세라솔루션은 이번 과제를 통해 우주광통신의 핵심 기술인 PAT(Pointing, Acquisition, Tracking) 모듈을 개발한다. PAT 모듈은 위성과 지상국 간, 또는 위성 간 레이저 링크 구축에 필수적인 요소다.
이번에 개발되는 PAT 모듈은 기존 짐벌 시스템 대신 프리즘 기반 설계를 적용한다. 크기와 비용을 획기적으로 줄이면서도 더 높은 성능을 구현할 수 있다. 인세라솔루션은 관련 특허를 출원했으며 고유한 원천 기술을 확보하고 있다.
인세라솔루션은 PAT 모듈의 핵심 구성품인 우주환경 적합형 FSM(Fast Steering Mirror, 고속조향거울) 개발에도 성공했다. 해당 기술은 2026년 5월 예정된 누리호 5차 발사에 탑재되어 우주 실증에 나설 예정이다.
권영관 인세라솔루션 대표는 "이번 스케일업팁스 과제 선정을 계기로 FSM 기술을 고도화하고, 혁신적 프리즘 기반 PAT 모듈 개발을 통해 우주광통신 분야의 판도를 바꾸겠다"며 "향후 레이저 무기 등 방산, 반도체·디스플레이 노광 장비 등 다양한 산업 영역으로 레이저정밀조향시스템 기술을 확대해 나갈 것"이라고 말했다.
