On last month, Woowa Bros. (CEO Bong-jin Kim)'s delivery app 'Baedal Minjok' reached their best record as they surpassed 5 million monthly orders. On December 2014, the report shows 5.2 million delivery counts, a 20% increase from November's 4.3 million. The estimated total transaction fee is approximately 95 billion won.

2014's annual delivery broke 40 million mark as well indicating a 230% increase compared to 2013.  Statistic Korea report shows that there are 1.75 million households in Korea so we could say that nearly every household uses Baedal Minjok at least twice a month.

Baedal Minjok is now having the unprecedented start of 2015 overwhelming their competitors by accumulating over 15 million downloads and Nielson Korean Click’s report showing 2.67 million monthly visitors placing Baedal Minjok as number one in this market.

Baedal Minjok opened a new culture of food delivery. Customers and business owners can communicate through reviews, and the app is full of discount possibilities through point systems. Also, the method of payment is very flexible because users can use kakao-pay, gift certificates, mobile transaction and many other ways. Currently, 150,000 stores are listed on the app.

"If 2014 was the year that allowed Baedal Minjok to reach popularity, I hope we set the new course of delivery culture this year. We will do our best to provide services that satisfy the customers and business owners as well." Said Bong-jin Kim.
