Echelon Ignite: Thailand is the first spin-off from e27’s Echelon conference that has been running since 2008. The focus of Echelon Ignite is to educate, enable and nurture startups and their ideas by preparing them for future Echelon conferences through keynotes and workshops by experienced founders, mentors and industry leaders. It is the hope of the organizers to bridge startups that attend Echelon Ignite into the wider Asian startup ecosystem by benefiting from the collective knowledge and experience of these mentors.

Thailand was selected as the country that would benefit most from the Echelon Ignite format after the organizers saw first-hand the massive potential within the Thai startup community at the last Echelon 2012 conference and its satellites. The last Echelon winner was the Thai startup, Builk and subsequent travels to Bangkok and meetings with Thai community leaders convinced the organizers that there was massive creative potential in Thailand.

Echelon Ignite: Thailand is organized in close partnership with HUBBA Thailand to ensure that the content is hyper-local and hyper-relevant to the Thai community. Future Echelon Ignites will be organized in a similar fashion with other local partners to continue build the foundations for a vibrant, creative and connected Asian startup ecosystem.
