As well as boasting an impressive speaker line up when it comes to VCs, beGLOBAL also feature some very interesting entrepreneurs and business people, two of which are Saeju Jeong, Co-CEO at Noom and Suk Park, Co-Founder of DramaFever.
With both being born in Korea and currently based in New York, they have a lot in common. But the biggest common denominator is their success. Since the age of 19, Saeju Jeong has been an enthusiastic entrepreneur with experience in many diverse industries. In Korea he established an independent music label which was chosen as the most promising e-business in Korea in 2001.

After focusing on global markets, he settled in New York where he worked as the sole representative of an international music company. In 2006 he co-founded Noom (previously WorkSmart Labs) and built CardioTrainer, the free mobile fitness application for Android smartphones, which has been the leading fitness application on the Android platform since then, partnering with Google, Motorola, Verizon and NTT DoCoMo. After building the 4 apps the company currently features, Noom recorded the most downloads in the health/sports sector in the Android marketplace with over 15 million downloads and, after receiving investment from Kleiner Perkins, the world’s top-tier investment company (which also invested in Google, Amazon, Zynga and Twitter), the company has been growing very fast. Currently the company has the largest share in the global health care application market and is receiving intense media interest not only from America, but also across the world.
