Company builder Fast Track Asia announced their 8 million dollar funding from Wonder Holdings and Insight Venture Partners of United States on the 5th. This is the second investment under Wonder Holdings' lead and participation of previous investor Insight Venture Partners since December 2012. Min-ju Lee of Atinum, Eun-sang Lee of Carbon Eyed, ex-Nexon CCO Sang-bum Kim and other previous as well as current IT founders funded 3.3 million dollars for the first investment.
Fast Track Asia was founded on early 2012 as a company builder. Fast Track Asia is a company that was created from the ground with other co-founding managements targeting startups that were working on bringing offline lifestyle related internet/mobile market to online. Currently their fields include education (Fast Campus), distribution (Fly and Company), Food (Hello Nature), and fashion (Stripes) and they are more interested to be a business partner and grow together instead of simply investing.
Fast Track Asia's newly introduced company builder model is unique in a way as to work with foreign specialized startup studios like Rocket Internet of Germany, Betaworks, Science, and Accretive of United States. Rocket Internet has successfully listed in the German stock market and Accretive has increased its value to 800 millions dollars in 10 years.
Wonder Holdings is a stock company built by Min Heo after Nexon acquired Neople. He has been very active investing in 10 other companies like social commerce WEMAKEPRICE, online game developer Astorm and even holds the Korea's first independent baseball club 'Ko-yang Wonders.'
