Dr. Jeanie Han, who was recruited out of Paramount Pictures, is in charge of running LINE in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Under Han’s leadership, LINE has grown exponentially in these territories through successful TV and viral campaigns. For instance in Spain, the user base grew by 300 times within a span of just 6 months, elevating LINE, which recently surpassed 230M users, as a true global player. Her extensive experience in marketing and business development has enabled her to make LINE an entertainment platform, taking digital communications beyond words on a screen and leveraging more emotional drivers to make communications more meaningful and fun.
